Michelle A. Niesen, MS, PA-C- Owner/Primary Clinician

Michelle Niesen is a board-certified Physician Assistant with several years of clinical experience. Michelle earned her undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996, followed by a Master of Science degree as a Physician Assistant from The Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University in 1998. She received the Physician Assistant Departmental Thesis Award in 1998 with her masters thesis titled “Treating Obesity as a Chronic Medical Condition”. Michelle is board-certified in General Medicine and holds a special board certification in Surgery.

After graduation, Michelle came back to her hometown of Sauk Prairie and joined the Prairie Clinic, as a Physician Assistant in Family Medicine. Michelle worked at Prairie Clinic for over 12 years where she developed a busy, patient-focused practice. She continued honing her skills in general medicine and discovered a passion for hands-on procedures and dermatology problems, treating many difficult skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, dermatitis/eczema, allergies, and skin growths.

Michelle joined a well-established, enterprising Cosmetic Dermatology clinic in Middleton, Wisconsin in early 2010. There, she quickly became proficient in the use of lasers, excited to have so many “tools” to treat multiple dermatology concerns. Michelle attended several lectures and conferences in 2010 and 2011, learning new and effective minimally-invasive cosmetic dermatology procedures. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA).

Michelle loves the idea of using “light” to stimulate the body’s natural healing process and with the use of lasers and other technologies, can achieve amazing results. Along with general dermatology, Michelle has become skilled in the rapidly-improving, innovative science of anti-aging therapies with both laser and injectable treatments. She has found that surgery-free procedures versus cosmetic surgery is preferred by most patients which results in a more natural-looking, youthful appearance. Michelle finds it a privilege to take care of her patients, loves the challenge of developing a unique plan for each individual and feels rewarded to see her patients’ self esteem blossom with each visit.

Angela S. Mack, BSN, RN Owner/Clinic Manager

Angie is the Clinic Manager of Rejuvenation Clinic of Sauk Prairie. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995 and went on to practice in the Madison area as a surgical nurse in Plastic and General Surgery. In 2000, Angie left direct patient care to work in the growing field of Electronic Medical Records at Epic, based out of Verona, Wisconsin. Working at Epic allowed Angie to learn in depth the business end of health care and expand her experience with project management and computer information systems. As a project manager at Epic, Angie enjoyed working with many large health care organizations like NYU in Manhattan, University of Florida in Gainesville, and UC-Davis in Sacramento. Working at Epic was rewarding and exciting in many ways, however, after 11 years of travel she decided it was time to return closer to home and her nursing roots working directly with patients once again.

Angie’s past clinical experience working as a Plastic Surgery nurse makes her extremely excited to be working in the cutting edge field of cosmetic dermatology. Being with and helping others has always been a passion of Angie’s.  Working at Rejuvenation Clinic lets her use both her nursing bedside and project management skills. Not only does Angie fill her passion for nursing at the clinic, she loves working with her dear friend and college roommate, Michelle. The two still laugh about using each other as models during their clinical rotations and you will often hear them joking “we figured if we could live together we could work together”.

Personal

When you visit the clinic you will quickly find that Angie loves to talk and enjoys a good laugh. She loves spending time with family and friends, Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain. She is a crazy soccer mom, likes being outdoors, gardening, making a spicy bowl of chili, and reading a good book at the end of the day and she will always be a Badger fan!
