Makeup/Skin Care Specialist
Polly with a “P” has a passion for people (pardon the pun). She loves to learn and help people feel at ease at Rejuvenation Clinic. Polly is sensitive and compassionate, which is evident in her work. Her talents, knowledge, and experience with health, skincare, and makeup prove to be very beneficial to the clinic and its patients.
Polly graduated with a degree in Consumer Sciences/Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996. She worked in the computer industry for a few years, fell in love with the “boy next door,” and moved back to her hometown where she got married and had two children.
Polly has always been passionate about healthcare, which sparked her interest in earning her Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license. She has volunteered for the Plain Ambulance as an EMT for the past 15 years. During that time, she worked in retail as the buyer for a clothing boutique, but due to back problems and eventually surgery, she took some time off to heal. The practice of Pilates was instrumental in her healing process as it helped her regain strength in her core. The results from this practice paired with her love of helping others inspired her to earn her license to teach Pilates.
Aside from her passion of healthcare and wellness, she is fascinated with all things “girly.” She had been working with Sephora in Madison upon their opening in 2008, as a skin care expert and makeup artist. When the opportunity became available to work with Michelle and Angie in a field that included all of her passions – health, skincare and makeup – she was thrilled! With Sauk City being closer to home, she has been able to continue caring for her elderly mother, while taking time to enjoy her work at Rejuvenation Clinic.
She enjoys exercise, nutrition and movies with her family. She loves to cook and experiment with new, healthy recipes. Though they may not always be a hit, she uses it as a learning tool in her next cooking endeavor.
